Welcome

A warm welcome to John Ray Infant ‘School House’ Nursery website. We are looking forward to inviting you to visit / join our new nursery family.

At John Ray Infant ‘School House’ Nursery, we are passionate about providing a safe, warm and welcoming environment for our children and their families/Carers.  Our environment aims to provide high quality, stimulating and inclusive Early Years Education. As Early Years Educators we believe that your child’s nursery education is about establishing the important building blocks to ensure a secure foundation for your child’s future growth as a learner and as a well-rounded member of society.

We are committed to ensuring that your child’s Early Years Education will allow them to grow into an enthusiastic, inquisitive and resilient lifelong learner, ready for whatever their future learning journey may be.  Such high-quality Early Years Learning education will help to equip your child with the social, emotional and academic tools that they will require.  Play is at the centre of everything we plan and do, as play encourages and allows exploration, problem solving and practising important social skills.  Play, alongside our core values of respect, fairness, caring, curiosity, responsibility and honesty is at the heart of our teaching and will allow for smooth transitions into school.  We can’t wait to work in partnership with you, to walk together and enjoy and celebrate this exciting next step of your child’s development.  We are very privileged that you have chosen John Ray ‘School House’ Nursery to care for and teach your precious child.

We hope that our website is informative, but please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information or if you would like to arrange a visit to come and see our exciting learning environment.
